Re: School Software

I am also going to jump into this one...School Software

Our school also implemented a full BlackBaud solution a couple of years =
ago
to achieve the single integrated database solution to meet our needs. We =
are
not satisfied that this has been achieved ( we have not tied RE and EE
dbases together yet), and given all the other issues mentioned to date =
which
we also have had to deal with, I have to ask why do schools really =
purchase
BlackBaud. In such a competitive area for SIS needs, where there are
seemingly many quality relevant solutions (including open source), there
must be some tangible differences, because ease of use is not one of =
them. I
would be interested to hear from anyone that has compiled a list of
features/ functions that clearly suggests Blackbaud is worth the VOI, or
better yet a comparative feature list with other SIS providers.

We are also moving our scheduling onto Facility Scheduler this year to
handle our scheduling requirements.
