Re: School Software

We had PDS systems for our school software which was hosted but it was
recently purchased by a company called Achieve Technology. They seem to
have a lot of experience with school databases and they used PDS designs to
leverage their own hosted system. Sadly, we haven't been able to purchase
that upgrade. So we are server based Achieve and I have the data onsite.
Each workstation has to have a client version. It uses Access and Outlook
2007 to do the bulk emails. I'm more impressed with the company than their
server based school software. I think their hosted will be really good.
They have grading, gradebook, parents, alumni, students, admissions,
development, scheduling, the works. They also developed an online web form
to feed into admissions.
