Things to consider:
Do you have enough support for fixing broken laptops? I heard one tech
director called them $2,000 pencils because the way students treat the
laptops.
If you went with X, will you have certified technicians to replace parts
under warranty? If you have certified techs at your school, you can replac=
e
hard to find parts at your school under warranty yourselves.
Would students have extra insurance to cover theft and damage?
Maybe have the laptop fee built into the tuition, and give a discount if
they bring their own laptop.
