The STEM for Girls Think Tank is an annual gathering of the educational leaders from around the country who are passionate about educating young women. The purpose of our conference is to find ways to better prepare and encourage young women to study
the four STEM areas (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) with the long-range goal to have more young women pursue careers in these fields. The event allows for open-ended discussion among attendees as well as a keynote speaker and a few brief
formal presentations. Facilitators will lead each of the STEM discussion groups in conversations centering around sharing best practices, brainstorming ideas on how best to encourage our students to pursue studies in the four STEM areas, and planning
future STEM-related initiatives and collaborations.
You can register for the Think Tank or find more information on Harpeth Hall's web site, www.harpethhall.org
