Re: NAIS website membership

Yes Peter, thanks for opening this door. NAIS has developed a new communiti=
es feature. Here you can explore and join in conversation about the speaker=
s from the 2009 Annual Conference, access workshop resources and a rich col=
lection of Learning Adventures (over 100 individual adventures related to t=
eaching and learning in the 21st century classroom) from the 2009 Classroom=
s of the Future. Teachers of the future pages and discussions and yes, a co=
llective blog and discussion based on managing technology in an economic do=
wnturn. Of course, there are many other resources you will be able to explo=
re once you have your profile setup for the site.

How to join and access the NAIS Communities

Start here and create a profile (upper right hand corner of screen)
http://www.nais.org/

Then access communities for the first time at:
http://www.nais.org/communities/index.cfm?itemnumber=3D151267&sn.ItemNumber=
=3D151719

Here you can learn more about the NAIS Communities and how to participate. =
When ready, click the GET STARTED TODAY link to log into the NAIS Communiti=
es and select your community preferences. Now you are ready to join in the =
discussion and access a wealth of resources.

After you have your account set up with NAIS and have joined NAIS Communiti=
es, you can go directly to the NAIS Communities at: http://communities.nais=
.org

We look forward to meeting you online.

Thanks Peter for getting the word out. Here's a shameless plug that a
few of us have been running a blog on doing Tech in an Economic Downturn
for NAIS schools on the NAIS website. We would love for you to login
and join the discussion!
