as a recent college graduate. There was never really any mandate in
Minnesota schools- just recommendations of speed, RAM, etc. My alma
mater switched to mac this past summer and began running Boot Camp and
Linux on their computers as well. I had MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
and I did fairly well with my mac.
