As we at MICDS continue our 1:1 planning for this fall, I'm seeking spare
battery alternatives to purchasing spares from the manufacturer.
Also, is using a generic battery a wise option? . . Perhaps there are
support issues that are greater than any potential cost savings?
We are deploying the Lenovo X61 with the 8cell battery.
I'd also appreciate hearing about any suppliers of multi-charging units
that could support 5-10 batteries simultaneously.
