Re: Web-based Keyboarding Instruction query

We went to Type to Learn 4 web version this year. As a new product, =
there were several tech issues. However, one of our biggest obstacles =
was students not working on it at home. We asked 4th - 8th graders to =
use it, but since it wasn't tied to a grade in their classes, most would =
just choose not to do it.

We will continue to expect our students to learn to keyboard at home not =
during school, and we will continue to let the parents know the =
importance of this skill. However, I expect we will continue to see 50% =
not using the program.

Hi to all---

We are investigating the purchase of a web-based keyboarding
curriculum called Custom Typing.

The intent is to have a keyboarding program available that children
would be able to work through both at school and at home.
The cost seems reasonable---$400 for 100 users for one year with a
renewal charge of $220.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who is using this program or
another type of program.
What do you like? Quality of the program? Difficultly with =
administration?
Thank you very much!
