Re: One Easy Way to Prep for Possible Extended Flu-Related Closures

Liz,

We tend to be big fans of just-in-time learning when it comes to
technology; very much in concert with Chris Lehmann's approach.

That's why I recommend getting your teachers to join ISEnet, where they
can immediately start using a Ning for personally meaningful and relevant
purposes. The ning skills they develop in doing that can quickly be put
into play on your school's ning site should the need ever arise.

We are not pushing our school ning now that we're back meeting
face-to-face. We're not going to close it, but instead just monitor it and
see what happens. I'll provide an update in a few weeks.

Fred

PS Thanks for the blog post shout out!

PPS Nancy, good point about the age restriction on Ning.
