seen it in use at a presentation, but it is a true whiteboard. There are no
electronics in the board itself, so if you do get ghosting or someone hits
it up with with a Sharpie, you can douse it with anything you want to get it
off. Also, if it breaks, there is no need to send the board back - there's
nothing to fix in the board itself.
But, like I said, I haven't used one in practice.

They biggest reason why faculty are hesitant to use a Smart Board is that we
can't use it as a white board. That's why I've been looking into other
solutions such as the Polyvision and Promethean. Smart Boards are great,
but you can't use them when the projectors are off.
Also, when they went to version 10 of their software, things went downhill
on the usability. They added more features, but it made it more bloated.
