email signatures

Do any of you have policies with regard to what is and is not appropriate for email signature lines for students and faculty? We are checking with our school attorney to find out where the line is drawn for freedom of speech. Every year we hear from
people who are concerned about political, religious, and controversial quotes and messages in the signature lines of messages they have received. I'd love to hear what other schools are doing or not doing! We provide all of our teachers and students
FirstClass accounts - this relates to the school account and not to private accounts.

This topic is also posted on the ISEnet ning for discussion.

Thanks - Karen
