Re: Technology in Curriculum Integration

We had just one Academic Technology Coordinator=20
for our K-12 school of 1150, and we just split=20
that position. (We are looking for the Lower=20
School Technology Coordinator now for starting in=20
late July 2008. If you know of any who are=20
interested and have a hankering to move outside=20
the U.S., send them my way.) While we are not yet=20
a laptop school, we have numerous laptops and=20
other systems but we weren't able to help our=20
teachers as much as we wanted, particularly in=20
the lower school. We need the coordinators for two reasons:

1. Help the teachers.
2. Demonstrate excellence and vision for the administration.

Administrators aren't in class much so they don't=20
intuitively see the benefits that teachers can=20
see. The coordinators can help them make the=20
connection by getting them in class when good things are going on.
