We used to have an investment club, for which the students were given a
sum of money (I'm remembering $1000) to invest on behalf of the school's
endowment. It's such a cool idea I had to pass it on even though we don't
do it any more.
More currently, I've given a $200 budget to our middle school student
government, and am working with the kids to make funding decisions for
social and service activities.
Take care,
