Re: Ipods

Hello, all,

I read this entire thread on my phone. Now, I'm responding via my phone.

If you try and ban [device x] you will end up wasting time and resources in an effort to control the uncontrollable. I would like to see any class where some students haven't been off task for some of the time. The same is true of just about any faculty meeting.

Banning phones just starts another cycle of cat and mouse. This is a classroom management issue, not a tech issue. As with technology integration, focus on the behavior/learning, not the tool.
