Re: Help with summer reading

At the private K-8 school my children attend, there is a summer reading tes=
t
at the start of school. They also have to complete a book report for
credit. They get to choose two out of five books to read. The school also
added, last year, a summer math requirement. IF the student completes the
math book, they receive a free dress pass for a day and extra credit. Afte=
r
reading Malcolm Gladwell's "Outliers", I agree that working on academics
over the summer is a good thing.
