With great excitement, this year's CIT has gone bi-coastal with sessions in both San Francisco and the Washington, DC, area. CIT offers workshops for middle and high school educators in key academic, co-curricular and leadership areas, plus an Integrated Technology Symposium for school leaders and educational technologists.
I personally lead CIT's third annual Integrated Technology Symposium for School Leaders -- designed specifically for heads of school, assistant heads, principals, curriculum directors, technology specialists and other academic professionals who are seeking ways to create broad, cross-disciplinary exposure to best practices in technology integration. An optional add-on day has been scheduled for those interested in creating their own 1:1 laptop program. The Symposium is offered twice this year,
once in DC, June 21-24, and once in San Francisco, July 26-29.
I also teach the fifth annual digital oral history workshop, Telling Their Stories: Producing Web-Based Digital Video Interviews, July 19-July 23, in San Francisco.
Please encourage your colleagues to explore the offerings by visiting our website at www.centerforinnovativeteaching.org, or feel free to email me with any questions.
Regards,
Howard
