online communications policies

Greetings,

We are a toddler to 8th grade school. I am currently revisiting online
communication policies and am looking for information about your online
communications (social networking sites, YouTube, Internet chat, etc.)
policies for both students and faculty/staff. Could you please share
yours? Did you have any outside consultant help with writing the policy?
If so, was it helpful and who did you use?

If not blocked, do you monitor access? If so, what kind of monitoring
software are you using?

I really would like to get a grip of what other schools are doing. I am
in the process of developing an in-house committee to work on this.=20

Any information will be helpful.

Happy Wednesday,

Mirna
