I know that the listserv has an archive of all the emails posted to
ISED-L, but I was wondering a while back if it might be possible to
have the ISED-L content appear elsewhere.
I've recently taken technology to what may be an insane conclusion.
The ISED-L is a traditional listserv and is hosted at the University
of Syracuse. The output from that listserv becomes the content for
this blog which in turn becomes the RSS feed to which you can
subscribe. Get it your way: listserv, blog, feed.
** To receive email from direct from ISED-L listserve and to be able
to post to the list (add content), subscribe to ISED-L. Send a
message to listserv@listserv.syr.edu and in the body of the message,
write
SUBSCRIBE ISED-L YourFirstName YourLastName
You must include your name to be accepted as a subscriber. Use your
real first and last name. Do not include any other material in the
message. In response you will receive a computer-generated
confirmation message, and then all ISED-L postings as they occur.
** To read the ISED-L content in a blog form, go to http://ised-l.blogspot.com/.
** To receive the ISED-L content via an RSS feed, add this feed to
your reader: http://feeds.feedburner.com/ised-l_blog.
At the moment,
there are seven people subscribed to the feed.
** To search the listserve archives (all content since the very first
email post), visit: http://listserv.syr.edu/archives/ISED-L.html.
Perhaps there are other ways to view the content?
Peace,
/s/ Peter
