If you are planning on attending the NAIS Annual Conference and you are
interested in Global Education, you can still register for the NAIS
Global Education Summit taking place on Wednesday, February 27th from
8:30am to 4:00pm at the Hilton New York.
The keynoters are Prof. Kwame Anthony Appiah, author of
"Cosmopolitanism", and Kenneth Bacon, President of Refugees
International. Registration also includes a three-hour workshop in the
afternoon. This year, there are two 'signature' workshops related to
Global Education: "Continuing the Conversation", a chance for Heads and
others to exchange notes on their global programs; and "World Class Math
from the World's Math Classes" - a report from a working group of math
teachers from around the world which has been collaborating on best ways
to teach Math in our schools.
