Re: YouTube Guidelines for Student Work

The guidelines we have for posting anything online:

1. It must not have last names.
2. First names must not be associated with the person (in other words, =
no photo of a single student with the name or no introducing themselves =
using their real names)
3. It must have all sources cited.
4. All sources must be used within the fair use / copyright guidelines =
(e.g. no using full songs, no more than 30 seconds, etc.)

We strongly encourage parents to follow the above guidelines if they =
post anything online, too.

Dear Folks,
Do any of you have rules or guidelines regarding the posting on YouTube =
of
videos that students create for class projects? We have been encouraging
our teachers to use video more in their classes and, now, naturally, the
students want to share their (excellent) work with each other and the
world.
Thanks,
Bruce
