Re: Cell phone base antenna on campus

Hi Dave,

A good place to start is with the WHO:

Electromagnetic fields and public health: mobile phones

http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs193/en/

The other question I would ask and look at to help with information gathering and sharing is - in
relation to your campus, where are the other cell phone towers (in relation to the community). Are
there also power lines and towers that go through the community? Having this information can help
guage how your community might respond to a proposal.

Although evidence does not point to health risks, its always a good idea to float proposals such as
this through different channels in your community to understand opinion. Has there been a reaction
to wifi on your campus? A good way to frame all of this is to incorporate what you currently have.
