Chinese School Seeks Partner
A leading Chinese high school would like to find a partner school in the
U.S. that could help it design Western-style curriculum for a portion of its
students. Hangzhou No. 2 High School in Zhehjiang Province is interested in
facilitating a partnership that might include teacher training and
assistance with curriculum design. The school is willing to pay $25,000 per
year to cover the cost of the partnership and would like to host visits from
American faculty/staff/students. The partnership would be facilitated
through a state-side non-profit, the Council for American Culture and
Education. Hangzhou No.2 is just one of several schools seeking to pursue a
partnership of this sort. Interested schools should contact Bruce Hammond
at bruce.hammond@dipont-edu.org.
