Re: report card software

There's also free and open source solutions available. If you want more
of a Student Information System which will also give you grading
capabilities on top of a few more you may or may not want, there are
five out right now with a sixth coming soon. They are:

Centre - http://www.miller-group.net=20
Fox-SIS - http://www.fox-sis.com - a fork from Focus SIS Version 2.3
OpenSIS - http://os4ed.com/opensis/ - a fork from Centre
OpenAdmin - http://richtech.ca/openadmin/index.html - Since 2002, geared
toward Canadian Catholic schools, but still quite usable by many others.
ClaSS - http://www.laex.org/class/ - beta started in 2004
SchoolTool - http://www.schooltool.org/ - beta in October with final in
April - funded by Canonical, the people that bring you Ubuntu

If you're only looking for grading - might need a little more
information. For example, I suppose you're running on Windows - but XP?
Do you have Access or another database package?
