For me, the key to the type of school I imagine that you are imagining is
not to create courses that are digital-analogs (now there's a term!) of
traditional courses, especially AP level courses and other artificially
constrained subject areas.
Rather, I think the challenge of a progressive online school is to imagine a
progressive curriculum in an online or blended setting. This suggests things
such as cross-disciplinary, project-based, continuous progress, open
assessment, and other attributes.
