Re: Touring 10 Unsolved Questions of the Brain with Dr. David Eagleman at ISAS Te

Ditto what Chris had to say, though I didn't hear Eagelman speak at ISAS
but rather at the 2008 CAIS Brain & Learning Institute in Connecticut. His
talk was so interesting that I also attended his session on sleep. In
addition to Chris's blog post, you can read more about [
http://discovermagazine.com/2007/aug/unsolved-brain-mysteries ]10 Unsolved
Mysteries Of The Brain by Eagelman in a Discover article.

If you are interested in even more food for your brain, there are a number
of two and three day Brain & Learning Institutes this year, including:
April 8-9 in [ http://www.fis.edu/podium/default.aspx?t=103950 ]Frankfurt,
Germany, July 22-23 in [ http://www.aa.edu/podium/default.aspx?t=127056
]Albuquerque, NM, and August 24-25 in [
http://www.hsc.on.ca/BLAI/poster.pdf ]Hamilton, Canada.

There is also a triannual Learning & the Brain conference, with the next
two scheduled for February 18-20 in San Francisco, CA, and May 6-8 in
Washington, D.C. The group that hosts these conferences is also hosting
two Summer Institutes, one in June at Lawrence Academy in Groton, MA, and
one in August at UC Santa Barbara. Information about all of these is
available [ http://www.edupr.com/ ]here.

Cheers,
Laurie
