We give them a pretest in prep year and then assess again in their senior
year. If you are interested, I can pass along the rubric.

Subject: Assessing Literacy Skills
I am looking for an assessment tool to gauge our students' understanding of
technology at the Middle School level. We are finding that students who are
new to our school have not necessarily been asked to produce content using
computers. We would like a way of assessing our own students' proficiency
and then compare that to our new student population. Suggestions?
