Re: ISED-L

We limit the students to five. If you allow a larger number of allowed =
recipients the students will treat the email system as a chat system =
between large distribution groups. I have seen students with over 800 =
emails received within a 6 hour period from the large chat sessions. We =
had to decrease the number of allowed recipients or re-size the exchange =
server for that type of usage. After looking at the cost of upgrading =
the system we decided to decrease the number of allowed recipients.
=20
The faculty and staff are set to 1500 which allows them to email the =
entire school if needed.
I'm currently setting up a list server for student club distribution =
list.

Does anyone have internally imposed limitations on the number of email
recipients that can be designated for a single message?=20
