I would encourage you to take look at 2 video clips on youtube.
Blogs in plain English and Wikis in plain English.

Both of these clips do a fine job of describing the respective web 2.0 =
app.

Subject: wiki/blog question
=20
We are preparing to launch a wiki/blog server so teachers can host a =20
wki for their classes. Try as I might it has been difficult for me to =20
formulate a working explanation of the difference between a wiki and a =20
blog. We are using an XServe where each class created in Workgroup =20
Manager gets a wiki and a blog and individual teachers can create =20
their own individual blogs.
It would be very helpful to have access to some wiki/blogs used in a =20
Grade 9-12 setting . I can share these with our faculty as we start =20
using these collaborative tools.
thanks
