Try using Moviemaker to capture the video. I'm on a Mac right now so I can't
give you the exact steps, but I think it's File/Capture Video (after you
first connect the camera to the computer). If you're still looking for a new
camera, I like the Panasonic 3-CCD cameras (e.g., PV-GS320). The have a good
quality image and a USB port. The only thing I wish they had is a external
microphone input.
