Our firm has been engaged by a major foundation that has interest in the
effect that the economy is having on independent school enrollment.
They have asked us to determine if enrollment has dropped in any measurable
way at schools in certain regions of the country or at certain types of
schools. They have particular interest in New England Schools, Middle Atlantic
Schools and Rust Belt Schools, They are also looking at whether school type has had
any effect on enrollment based on the current economy.
This study may result in grants to schools that have had statistically
meaningful enrollment declines and that can show significant and serious cost saving
measures.
