AlertNow is what we are using since this past September. We looked at two other vendors but decided to go with Alert Now. We are not using the email function as delivery times were not consistent - you don't know where they the challenge lies. We use
multiple phones (up to 8 per person/family) and have not used text. Very easy to use - we've used only for testing at this point. The plan is to use for snow day, lock downs (hope we never have to implement), or early closing. What we have liked about
AlertNow are the various slices of our database (student/faculty/staff database is Blackbaud) we can upload - notify only faculty, notify by campus (we have 3 different campuses), notify parents etc. Work setting up, but once defined, very very easy to
manage. Email off list if you'd like specific information.
