There are a LOT of reasons not to move this way. Without trying to start
an FC/Exchange all-out war, the reasons include:
1) FC is a lot more stable to run and operate
2) The costs for FC is a lot less. Microsoft estimates that Exchange cost
about $170 per user.
3) Cross-platform client for FC, but not for Exchange (not counting
Entourage, for which the Exchange-Entrouage connection is shaky at best).
Most organizations that considering do so because they feel they have to
be M$ products from head to toe.
Perhaps if some of the reasons you were thinking of changing were listed
you might get a better comparison response...
