When faced with this situation, I make several "class" emails that only =
I have the password to. Then I use those email accounts to open up blog =
accounts - with different passwords. The student only uses the email =
address to log into the blog... they can't access the email account =
itself. Hope that makes sense.
You could also check to see if your blog will take the gmail hack for =
student accounts (read about it here http://teacheng.us/?p=3D69 )
Good luck!

Subject: Blogs
Does anyone know of a blog site that does not require students to have =
an
active email account. Our 7th Grade English teacher wants to start a =
blog,
but has a number of students who do not/can not have email accounts.

Any suggestions appreciated.
