Re: one pager on 21st Century Skills

I think taking the 2007 Student NETS (just the main points) are pretty
succinct:

Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop
innovative products and processes=20

Students communicate effectively and work collaboratively=20

Students Find, evaluate, organize, synthesize and ethically use
information from a variety of sources
=20
Students use critical thinking skills to plan and conduct research,
manage projects, solve problems, and make informed decisions using
appropriate tools and resources.=20

Students understand and act appropriately to human, cultural, and
societal issues

Students demonstrate a sound understanding of technology concepts,
systems, and operations

I think if students graduate with the above skills we have more than
prepared them for the 21st Century!
