Re: Google apps for education

We had a phased migration during the summer of 2008 and as of Sept 2008 the
entire school was migrated (students, faculty, offices). The migration has
been extremely successful and has freed up a lot of time allowing us to
focus energies on other areas. We did spend a lot of time testing and
planning the transition especially since we were early adopters. I started
testing with myself and I've been using Google Apps as my sole email and
calendaring solution since April 2007.

As with most others who have made the change, we focused our energies
primarily on email and calendar enabling but not pushing the other apps such
as Docs.
