Re: iPod Touches and iPhone Apps

Hey Peter,

I was actually going down the road of writing one with the SDK. I was also
putting feelers out and contacted the company here in SF that did iStanford
and found out they were working with Whipple Hill on an early initial
release of Mobile Edu that would work off the Whipple Hill API. So, I went
down that road. For me, it was another way to leverage the WH data and
investment we had already made for the students, parents and faculty
benefit. We have a high number of iPod Touch/iPhone users, so seemed like a
easy fit. We are seeing lots of Alums using it as well as current parents
and students.

We are also maintaining a mobile site that has the basics for non-Apple
devices but really wanted to get a basic mobile platform going and get the
community involved in further directions after the get something they can
start to play with.
