They are excellent for down and dirty video. Zoom is not wonderful (2x), but as a point
and shoot they are fine. I've not had any problems importing to MovieMaker. (And, yes I
do work on a pc - but just to make sure stuff works cross platform! - I am MAC compliant.)
For more sophisticated video I'd opt for a prosumer camera or perhaps a high end consumer
camcorder.
