Re: Alternative to movie maker

Adobe Premiere Elements provides much of the functionality of Adobe Premiere
for a fraction of the cost - particularly at academic pricing. It's a
steeper learning curve than MovieMaker or iMovie, but is much more powerful.
I've also used Microsoft PhotoStory to allow students to combine audio with
still pictures. I don't know if this is an option for you, but there is a
wide array of free and commercial video format conversion options such as
Zamzar.com.
