We have moved our website over to FinalSite who has an excellent Alert system ([ http://www.finalsite.com/page.cfm?p=252 ]http://www.finalsite.com/page.cfm?p=252) that allows for parents to sign up for SMS messaging. This would be great for parents to
sign up and receive emergency news, updates, etc. Parents/Students would have to sign up for the system (keeps messages from going to people who don't want them or would have to pay extra for the text messages). I look forward to playing around with
many of the features of our new site, and this looks like a great one.
