Re: Typing Curriculum

We subscribe to a web-based typing program, customtyping.com

Our students are introduced to it in 4th grade, toward the end of the
school year, and a letter is sent home to the parents encouraging them to
have their kids practice over the summer. Starting in 5th grade, typing
is assigned as homework.

The benefits are that we don't spend class time on typing, and that the
teacher can view the students' progress online. The drawback is that
customtyping is a bit cumbersome and not very attractive; has anyone had
experience with a better web-based program?

Thanks,
- marty
