Re: Scope and Sequence

Hello, all,

As the designer behind DrupalEd, I would have to agree
with Alex's categorization of the wiki feature as
slightly overmatched for this use.

Within Drupal, I would recommend creating a specific
content type for your curriculum map. This way, you
could create the exact web-based form you needed to
gather your information, and assign edit rights as
needed.

The modules you would need to do this are all included
in the core DrupalEd install, or you could build this
specific functionality using core drupal, the content
module, the link module, and views.

http://drupal.org/project/drupal (get version 5.3)
http://drupal.org/project/cck
http://drupal.org/project/link
http://drupal.org/project/views

If you wanted to get more sophisticated, you could use
the workflow module that would let you move the items
within your curriculum through custom states (for
example: Proposed; Under Review; and Approved). The
workflow module is available here:
http://drupal.org/project/workflow

From a technical place, this is a pretty
straightforward project. Building out the curriculum
is another matter entirely, but I hear consensus is
easily reached on these matters ;)

Cheers,

Bill
