number of students.
We created accounts that locked down the computers they logged into so
they couldn't access the Net, their file shares and email. They then
wrote their exams in Word and saved them to the special accounts' home
directory. We then had to collect all the files and distribute them to
the correct teachers. Not very efficient. I know there has to be a
better way to do this.
Some have suggested using Moodle but we'd still have to lock machines
down. What packages have you seen or use that allow you to administer
exams? Something like Respondus (http://www.respondus.com/) but not tied
into Blackboard.
As usual thanks for your responses and apologies for cross posting.
