I wonder if the 2-day might be a bit more than people can do, but perhaps =
not.

Also might be a good idea to sound out our administrations about this. =
We'll get more support for whatever ideas we generate.

Fred, Bill, Peter, Bob, Jeanne, Chris and others,
Bob and I were just IM'ing a bit out of this thread, and there seems to be
enough of an interest here and enough of a *need *- would people be
interested in as 1 or 2 day conference sometime early this summer? I'm
thinking about a get together which would include a face to face gathering
for those who could make it with others skyped or teleconferenced in.
Not sure if I have a good sense of a locus of geography for all of us, but
I'm feeling as though taking a day or two out to meet some of you all in
person and brainstorm ideas and begin to really push some of these ideas
forward would be a very valuable use of my time.
Others?
In peace,
*Norman Maynard*
