presentations to various schools and school districts on the topic of
differentiation and, perhaps more importantly, gives teachers practical
applications to use in the differentiated classroom. Shannon Holub
hails from the Chicagoland area and can be reached at
sholub@hotmail.com. I highly recommend her to come talk to your
teachers.

Subject: Re: Books on Differentiated Instruction
I strongly recommend this book and several others by Tomlinson (she has
some specific ones for k-4 and 5-9th grades). I took a workshop with her
this past spring and she has a nice handle on differentiated learning.
She
also did a book with Jay McTighe that intergrates differentiated
instruction with Understanding by Design which is on my summer reading
list.
