colleagues, I'd like to share the same message I sent along to my
Wizards-L friends.

After seventeen wonderful years as Director of Information Technology at
The Park School, at my own request I am happily stepping aside to pass the
baton to someone who will lead us into the next decade. This is not a
retirement for me. The Park School is expanding our technology department
by one person, and I will stay on as database administrator and will also
work on special projects. (We all know that there is never a lack of
"special projects" when it comes to school technology.)
In an attempt to be completely unbiased, I can say that this is a highly
desirable position working in a school which is healthy in every way. Our
leadership is committed to technology which can enable us to meet our high
aspirations as a premier elementary/middle school. Our technology team has
four talented individuals who are both individually and collectively
committed to the smooth operation of our infrastructure, and the
successful use of technology by every member of our community.
We seek a highly skilled technology leader who can combine a clear vision
for the instructional use of technology with experience as a network
administrator, including hands-on management of servers, databases, and
