ISED student run t.v. broadcast & film production

Dear Members,

We have a student run daily broadcast t.v. show for K-12 (different divisions participate at different levels). We are thinking of investing in HD versus standard definition facilities. Would you let me know what has worked for you? Is HD worth the
investment? We have two campuses, one preK-8 and the other preK-12. The former uses Final Cut Pro in editing the daily broadcast and the latter uses more pedestrian software. Is Final Cut Pro worth teaching middle schoolers? If you do have broadcast
facilities, do you offer additional classes to students?

Any guidance would be appreciated.

Best regards,
